Mike, a Soviet reenactor at an eastern front WWII event in Marion, Kentucky, stands up to take aim at the advancing Germans, as our group comes under fire.
This is probably one of my favourite photos that I have ever taken at a reenactment. Due to quite a number of factors, it very much has the appearance of a real photo from the period, and it makes me proud. Plus, I also feel that it gives a good sense of what a good reenactment can be like when things get intense.
